Bike Maintenance
Colonialism A workshop that aims to generate useful discussion about colonialism in general by looking at the legacy and continuation of British imperialism.
Feminist Health What does feminist heath mean? some of the history of the feminist health movement and a look at some feminist self-help health books, information and ideas.
Feminist Self Defence
Home schooling and radical parenting Homeschool discussion and support for liberation from the hiearchical intrusion on the minds,hearts and lives of ourselves and our children.
Improvised dance A collective improvised dance will rise from a journey through body awareness (body mapping, structure and shape), space exploration, sensory experiences of touch, movement and voice interactions. we will work as a group, in pairs and individually. Wear loose clothing, please bring water. We will dance in bare feet.
Massage Basic massage exploring the body using gravity, weight, self massage and exchanged massage through clothing.
Polyamoury Discussion A discussion space to explore our ideas about sex, intimacy and friendship and the politics of how we organise these in our lives.

Herb Study group, Potent plants, medicine and healing. 8pm, ACE

The herb study group meets on the first and third Thursday of the month. We usually look at one herb each time; fresh, dried, as a tincture etc and explore it experientially and through reading though herb books etc to learn more about it’s uses. Anyone welcome; folk new to herbs and those who want to deepen their connection the plants we look at. This extra herb study space is for consideration of potent/ altering indigenous and non-indigenous plants and to look at contexts they are used in, what we can learn from other cultures, discussion about traditions that have been lost/ suppressed in this culture etc.

Maya Deren takes us on a journey into the fascinating world of the Haitian Voudoun religion, whose devotees commune with the cosmic powers through invocation, offerings, song and dance.

Performance art legend Marina Abramovic delves into Balkan folklore to create a series of mise-en-scenes that explore the magical and mysterious folk-law rituals surrounding fertility and virility.
